whats the waiting period if booked with IOF.
Whats price if from a oily dealer.

Can't buy direct from IOF. Dealer to dealer price is around 95k. Dealer to licensee around 115k.

Thanx Katana, Ididn't know this. What may be the reason i mean for handgun one has to book with the IOF. Now don't tell me its same for IOF.22 sporting rifles too. My license for .22 lr is in the pipeline. I intent to own a rifle of my own, here i feel .22 lr soft to handle. Any valuable advice.

The IOF .22lr is again an amalgam of designs from the Brno Model 1 and Model 2. Personally I feel that amongst all the long guns made by IOF for the civil market, this was the best, especially the early models. If you are a first time shooter it's better to opt for the .22 rather than the .30-06 as it can be a handful for uninitiated shooters. Prices I have seen revolve around 45k to the licensee. You might have to work around the bolt and stock.

Not a first time shooter. Used to with larger calib. handgun asslt rifles. Would like to own a rifle of my own which i'll clean and oil with my own hand as a leisure time past. May be because i have liking for fire arms.
I wonder magnm rounds can be fired with IOF .22 lr without having to do some work in the chamber.
Stoke will be ok but you mentioned about the bolt any known defect in the bolt assembly.
