Accuracy International AE Mk II

On a recent range trip, one of the guys brought this along.

Very well built Rifle in 7-08. Wonderful S&B scope, shoots well sub MoA, designed to work in any condition and is one hell of a rugged gun. Also very very expensive. As far as true sniper rifles go, it doesnt get much better. With the possible exception of the DSR 1.

That being said, I wouldnt buy one. The ergonomics of the stock just dont cut it for me. Specifically I dont like the cheekpad design. Then again I have only shot a few rounds through it.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
