Shoot any gun like these prime examples of genius with wood/ploymer fittings and you will burn it.

The AK does get very hot when shot rapidly for more than one magazine. This is because of the gas tube in the fore end.
You could achieve the same result with any gas operated gun.

Also if that is in the US, then the geniuses have not only illegaly converted their AK's to auto but have even put up videos of their work.

I think they can own full autos in some states, requires a special class 3 permit though. But I could be mistaken... maybe one of our American friends can clear up the confusion?

True. But an NFA licensed AK would run upwards of $5K and unless these guys are billionaires it is unlikely that these are Class 3 licensed weapons. :cheers:

The Ak type rifle is more a kitchen utensil than a rifle. Burn it, bury it, soak it.. the damn thing still works. :cheers:

That's why it is the most preferred assault rifle in the world. And damn cheap as compared to other variants worldwide.
