great scopes and even better guns.
i have never used or seen the scopes u are using but u should take a good look at the new hawke SR 12 series esp for the varminters. i am running one on the discovery and am really happy with the result and the clarity. these are good value for money and u should be getting them a lot cheaper than what we pay for them in india.
how is the roo hunting out there? they seem plentiful.

Sometime, IF the big bore bhoot comes down, I MAY buy a 204 Ruger for varminting-dunno if I can get some varmint action, but that caliber seems , well, photogenic! Can try out some new fangled scope then. Horus is another brand that people are talking about...I dont know how good
Scopes are pricey here -by US standards, but I guess, available RTFM, if you want one.Leupolds are verry popular.I've a sightron 1.5-5x20 which needs to be checked out. But frankly, I am accustomed to the Nightforce by now. There may be better stuff out there, some say the newer Nikko stirling 8-32 scopes are good, but as the song goes,"I've grown accustomed to her face" (?)
Weavers? been a weaver fan from juvenile delinquency days...roo hunting is a bit different from other game-spotlighting is allowed, and the roo hunters are absolute crackshots, do 300m head shots, between the eye shots -by spotlight. I havent tried it though
