Mein Gott.
What a collection.
Something we in India ( Children of a Lesser God) can only dream of.

Yup its heavy, though about the same size as the SLR. Probably a little shorter. But I dont plan on lugging it around too much.m24 wrote: Well done. As I asked Sudesh, Next is What??
That is one beautiful piece of engineering. Congratulations. One heavy piece to lug around though.
You own a luger also??

Luger, is co-owned with my BIL amongst other things. We avoid duplication that way. Also there is a limit of 12 semi-auto rifles or pistols per person, so it helps us optimize our holdings as well.
Here is a pic of a Rem 700 in 7-08 that I accurized for him.

I speak for those of us who are reasonably new to IFG.
We have seen your amazing collection.
We have also seen some amazing snaps of your brother-in-law.
Now can we please see some snaps of OUR Man ........ the gun owner himself ( MoA ).
Cheers.

I'm very un-photogenic, and hate being photographed. There is a picture of me already on the board. But here is another one ..

Prashant,
That is the .45-70 Govt I shot at a recent BP league comp. had a misfire finished nowhere. Incedentally I shoot comps wearing a Kurta and Jeans. Throws the other shooter's off.
Eljeffe: Privi brass is decent, the ammo is useless, and it turns out the STG 57 was designed around the GP 11 round. Off which I have very little at this stage.
My BP is currently running at about 160/110 so am jittery, but with the GP 11 I could stay inside the 8 ring at 100 blasting away like WWIII.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
