The Blue was just Birchwood Casey cold blue. I applied it several times, rinsing in cold water and rubbing with (fake) steel wool between applications.I bought the dips match for my marlin some weeks ago. Am waiting to install it and see how it does. Your blueing is excellent, hot blue ?
