Jaz, not trying to add to the confusion, ubt ask your brother to take a look at the CDNN's latest catalogue.There are some super offers there. Steyr prohunter and Winchester rifles are priced very competitively.The Howas are also absolute bargains.Good rifles too.A lot of choice anyway.
Sat, re the stock, depends on what I am shooting. If I am going to use iron-sights and impromptu shooting like a driven shoot, I would take the Bavarian stock please.If shooting with scope, the straight stock. Grumps made me shoulder a Brno with a Hog's Back stock and then a straight stock,the difference in handling was quite evident,at least to me.Aesthetically, both look fine to me.Or even the Montecarlo stock.
