So, i just back from the range so here is my range report on my CZ 17HMR , gun shoot very flat and very picky about ammo like 22LR , i try 4 kind's of ammo then i found a winner CCI - TNT HP. you guy's can see in the picture, other problam i face is crosswind if you have a some wind you going to be all over the target becouse bullet is so light. i went to the range this morning and i fire 5 shoot and i am all over becouse of the wind. and i went to the range again after lunch by then wind is calm then i found a winner so i zero my scope at 200 yard's, i don't think i am going to shoot my Ruger SR22 in 22LR more then 50 yard's and 17HMR from 50 to 200 yards. now this toy is ready for Rabbits.

Baljit,
Thanks for taking the time to post this report. Congratulations on your shooting, especially the 200 yard group (with a new gun).

I have one more question; I know trigger pull can be very subjective but what did you think of the trigger (crispness, overtravel, your impression of the set trigger, etc.)?

Thank's guy's
xl_target, about the trigger, like you know trigger pull is very subjective i do not like the overtravel trigger, but i like the crispness trigger i have on my 3006 and 7MM Rem.Mag. only one and half pound trigger pull, impression of the set trigger i love that trigger it's only one pound trigger pull, i am going to say only one thing about the trigger crispness trigger give you a good accuracy.

shooter, No i did not try 20 grain yet but very soon i'll try that.

dev, thank's, it's 22mag. neck down to 17 cal.

There is a big debate here about the various bullets (blue tip, red tip, brass coloured tip etc ) and which ones expand/fragment and which ones just go through (the body of a rabbit or a hare).

I use hornady and they do expand much to the dislike of two hares.

Any thoughts?

i dont know about any tip but i like to stick with one brand of ammo how give me a good accuracy with my toy because every toy not like the same ammo and it's true, so if i get good accuracy with CCI- TNT HP. it's not mean your toy going to be like the same ammo.so it's no matter if it's blue tip, red tip , brass coloured tip, or a Pink tip, all the bullets go through the body, so if you whana shoot a Rabbits shoot him in the head because you not going to mount that head anyway , so stick with one brand how give you a good accuracy. This is what i like to do.
about expand i dont know anything about that because if i whana shoot some thing i shoot him in the head and that's the way i am.

by tip i meant polymer tipped bullets also called ballistic tips.

The CCI's you use are jacketed hololow points without the ballistic tips.

All the other brands can be distinguished by the color of the ballistic tips.

Whats interesting is that the bullets are made by the same manufacturer.

The 200 yard group is spectacular for a 17. You got very lucky with that one, normally the wind will play havoc on longer ranged groups. Good shooting.

Thank'a Guy's

MoA, yes i am very lucky on that because wind is very calm i dont know next time i get that longer ranged group. it's all depand on the wind .

Vikram, yes i know some guy's here thay are going for after market but my toy comes with set trigger so i am happy with that, but my 3006 and 7MM Mag. not come with this kind's of trigger so i work on both trigger and now it's only one and half pound trigger pull , i like to say one thing if you have a lite trigger it's improve your shooting skills also you going to get good accuracy.
