I do know quite a few people who hunt with their EBR's, and some who even use things like the Tigr for hog control.
I am aware of a few trappers in Alaska who use the M98 to take everything from rabbit to Grizzly. So have no doubt that with soft points you're not going to have an issue with deer.
Personally I do not hunt, but do buy game from those who do. I just am not the type to enjoy humping around the woods, with a bunch of Absinth swigging folk if you get my drift. Being shot by other hunters is fairly common around here.
