Or maybe they've resorted to using green gas airsoft SLRs...ngrewal wrote: I hope they didnt say LPG gas further in the report. that is expensive and hard to get

Re: SMLE .303, 7.62 & .410
I have one of the SMLE Ishapore .410 firearms. I purchased it a while back for the novelty of a perfectly healthy 303 being rendered useless by conversion. My specimen has the rear sight riveted apparently to prevent anyone from being too accurate. The magazine is removed and plugged rendering the gun a single shot. The bayonet lug is still in place. I've never fired it but it will chamber a .410 shotgun shell 2 1/2 inch length. In regards to an earlier post, in America the 410 shotgun is very popular as a utility catridge. While some models are marketed as defense, typically its used for disposing of small pests or recreational shooting.

Hey Yankee, I had a mayor of small town NH, as a fellow trainer in a Life support course. He was also a firefighter/paramedic/gunowner.We became friends and he gifted me that lapel pin, which I still have and flaunt -live free or die.Indeed
