just apply for rifle license giving the cal. it should not be a problem as you are allowed upto 3 arms. rifle club membership is not a must but might help.

there is no different type of license for IOF 3006 just the normal one.

I would say, rather than mentioning the specific caliber, mention NP bore rifle/shotgun(since 30-06 is a Non Prohibited bore, it should serve the purpose). This way you will not be limiting yourself to a particular bore or rifle only. If you do not get a good piece of 30-06 at fair price, your options for other firearms are also open.

Well, what is the reason for not getting NPB rifle license?

some times and in some areas when you mention bore as NPB and do not give the cal. you may be refused. as every district do not use NPB as a bore.

this has happened to someone i know in Nagaland who put NPB and was refused, he had to state the cal. as per the application form. so be ware.

IOF 30-06 is on sell with dealers and not direct from IOF 30-06. The dealers can only order min of 3, i think. you must be looking at the wrong place. Try Bobby Sindu in Punjab.

Can I raise a few issues here:

i. you say licenses for 30 06 are not being issued. when we ask you for details , you counter it by another howler that..
ii...... the IOF 30 06 is unavailable, when we have two members sharing their experiences ,vids and pics.

going over your old posts, i remember ....

iii. you made unsubstantiated allegations on the faizabad man eater episode....
iv ......and an outrageous suggestion on the berettas handgun wanted thread that was deleted by the mods.

I smell something troll like here. Will you care to explain why you have been doing all of this, or am I free to draw my own conclusions? just out of interest, how old are you?

IOF 30-06 is very much in production and available with dealers. There are many members in forum who recently bought IOF 30-06. Sudesh even gave you link of his thread.

I suggest you should read more
