I read,not having shot one, that with lighter bullets, the .375 HH is quite good for deer sized game too and there is minimal meat damage.What's your take Kragie saheb?

I know of deer that have been taken with .375, there is indeed little meat damage because the round doesn't get as much resistance as needed to start doing the destruction it would on something more thick skinned/ heavily muscled- so it passes through. But it's quite the kicker. Dead is dead, so I don't believe in overkill. But when lighter rounds do the job, there isn't much need for a .375 for deer. Unless you're hunting Moose/Caribou in Grizzly territory.

Shooting sunning turtles? That's got to be a low. Is that even legal- to kill them? Where's the respect- it's just killing for killing's sake.
