Brno VZ24 98 Mauser: I bought these two for my brother on two consecutive birthdays for him. 6.5 X 55 and 300 Win Mag. Both are pure 98 Mausers. He has fitted Leopold quick detach mounts on one. Both are unfired, he is too worried of getting the nice walnut stocks dinged. Has a typical hogback European type stock.
300 Win Mag. This cartridge has some recoil and a hard plastic butt plate doesn’t help if you are shooting it off the bench. Off hand it is fine.
6.5 x 55 Swedish. Very accurate cartridge with low ballistic drag and high sectional density. The 6.55 x 55 is great fun to shoot, reduced recoil and very accurate it is one of my favorite cartridges.

Re: Two Brothers
Hi Indian,
Have used it quite a bit at the range with a Swedish 96 Mauser that I converted. Have not hunted with it. Will post pictures of the Swedish one of these days.

Re: Two Brothers
Nice looking rifles, but you need to tell your brother he has to go and shoot them every once in a while!
