Technically there no longer is something called the Elet Tenex Ultimate EPS any longer.
Its simply Eley Tenex as of Jan 1 2008. The factory advertised MV is indeed 1085 fps.
However I dont see how firing somthing like the CCI HV at 1480 fps or Stingers or any of the other so called HV rounds could create a dangerous pressure situation in any 'modern' .22LR. Certainly not in the Brno Mod 1 or there abouts.
The caveat being that the weapon is in sound mechnical condition, and the bore is in good condition without bulges et al. IMHO .0000000002 cents.

That Brno Model 1 has a very sturdy action, I can't think of any reason why anybody would come up with that recommendation. Some of the OLDER rimfires that do not fully support the case may give problems, and do some spitting at the breech; but you need not worry about using any hiyper-velocity .22 RF in the Brno. Cheers.
