Ah, the old ones are best..........
I met Big John once - sold him a clapped-out old Mannlicher Schoenauer for ?83.47. Of course by the time he`d paid for a new barrel, chambering, bluing and fitting and had shipped the rifle from India to the US and back it would have been less expensive to buy a decent `03 in the first place !
What would be a fair price to offer for a Mannlicher?
