Some may be interested in Ian's short description of the 1A1 RFI FAL. I found it most interesting.

That firearm is in bad shape and looks beat up. I have seen those all my childhood and most were in much better shape than this one. I understand that was the only one he had but still give a rather bad impression of the manufacturing standards. Not that they have high standards to begin with.
