Super rifle and what a befitting Christmas gift. Hope you enjoy it on happy hunting grounds where the law legally permits. Interesting observation by skeet shot. Would the cross bolts help in reducing the felt recoil also???

Thanks for the reply.

The second cross bolt adds strength to the stock to prevent splitting from the heavy recoil.
you never pay too much for something, you only buy it too early
