Shilen barrels are in their usual peak form...Wasnt it a Physician who started the 6mm wildcat biz? PPC if I remember ?

Glad you liked it. While I like the idea of high tech to shoot tiny groups, I am not enamoured by the rifle's looks.

The 6mm and 22 PPC cartridges were developed by Lou Palmisano and Ferris Pindell, one of whom was an MD. These days there is an ultra high tech bolt action design that has also been designed by a doctor, Dr Dale Schuerman of Schuerman Arms. I have met Dale and he spent a considerable amount of time explaining his design philosophy and he is one of the nicest gentlemen I have met. DO check out his rifles at www.scchuermanarms.com
