Yes, I should have been more specific. It is called Breakfree CLP. I have found that Remoil, being such a light oil, evaporates pretty quickly. I'm not sure if the Teflon contained in it provides any rust protection. I have been using CLP for about 30 years and the bluing on my guns still looks good. CLP was originally developed for the US military.
While Hoppe's is a great powder solvent ( I use it too), if I'm in a hurry I will just wipe everything with a CLP soaked rag. The CLP stand for "Cleans, Lubricates, Protects". I always finish up with a CLP wipedown. When my daughter was a toddler, I put the guns away in the closet and they sat there for years, untouched. I was busy with many other interests at the time and didn't shoot for a while. I didn't have a speck of rust on any of the guns when I pulled them out and started shooting regularly again. A little goes a long ways. One spray can that I replaced has been used for about five years.
