The barrels are made on a steyr hammer forging machine in India which I am told cost 4 crores.wouldn't that be because the barrels are made by Steyr?

I wish the IOF out source the making of some parts of the civilian authorized firearms to pvt firm,if not the whole of it. I am sure this country will produce no lesser quality guns.
Not intent to offend the IOF authorities its just an opinion.
