IOF AK copy

Post by vrohan59 » Tue Oct 12, 2010 10:45 am

I was going through the IOF website, and came across this.Has anyone seen /handled/fired this weapon? They claim to have added a bolt hold open devise, and improved the design in several ways, please confirm. And finally have they bungled this too? http://ofbindia.nic.in/products/data/weapons/wsc/21.htm

Given the simplicity of the AK type of weapons, it would take genius to bungle the manufacture of these.
The AK/Vz/Nornico/Romanian/Bulgarian et al patterns on these weapons is better compared to a kitchen utensil than normal weapons. The .315 probably is more complex a weapon than this. Taking into account the loose tolerances and simplicity of the weapons, I would be very surprised if IOF can screw this up. Then again its the IOF.
