i would like to know the top 10-20 N.P Bore bolt rifles available in india (imported & desi) taken into consideration its fire power,cost,handling,maintainance,saftey,bullet availablity,bullet cost etc and offcourse the looks . A short expalanation n reasons for ur choice of arms too will b helpfull to the gun lovers here.
quick response is expected from all experinced and knowledgable gun masters of this forum.

First on the list would be the Brno Model 1-2 or 2E in .22 calibre

7x57 Mauser K98, rugged well proven rifle and caliber. A lot cheaper than 'phoren made' .30-06.

In the good old days when semi's were abundant: Loved the Garand and M1 Carbines.

If you are considering even the Desi ones then all three IOf made ones:
1. The IOF .315 Enfield copy
2. The IOF .22 BRNO copy
3. The IOF 30-06 Sauer copy
are good value for money in the Indian context.Imported ones as you know will be more expensive. Each of the above has a section dedicated to it and much discussion including price, availability accuracy and quality are all covered.
