Welcome to IFG and wait for your answers. I will give two assuming you are referring to a firearm:

1) Buy a "used" colt pistol from any authorised gun dealer in India against a valid gun licence. Be prepared to pay through your nose if the pistol is in perfect shape.
2) Find out if anyone in the family/ friends has a colt and willing to give it to you as gift or against token money. You would still need a licence.

my father has colt pistol but i dont think he will sell it ...a second hand colt can be bought for approx. 3-5 lacs in lucknow . rest of india , i don't know... the other option is u should become an N.R.I.

yes i know that , just as my father owes one and he had bought it in 1981 for 15000 rs. ....there must be second hand or third hand colt 1903 in market ...just need bit of luck ...i won't tell to buy ashani .. you can see the reason in the forum itself
