HI All,
Been looking for user info on this weapon-any one have anything to say about it; good or bad? the part about not to dry fire is a bit of a let down.The shoddy grips are to be expected ,but to use ONLY imported ammo? what are we going to use for plinking?

Rifle does not cycle KF rounds due to their thicker rims. No problem with any other imported round tried to date.

Looks like that 8 shot IOFB variant seems to be a spin off of the "cheap revolver for indians" -some 3rd grade bit of ironmongery that the singapore dealers were palming off in the 80's. What ever the brand, wouldnt keep 6 (off a rest !) in the black at 10m...
If the rims are as usual, feed in a revolver may not be so crucial, as they are supported by the face plate.Wonder about the pawl being able to move the cylinder...it might also be aluminium with a RC hardness of 10
As a plinker, I'm not looking at IPSC speed reloads, but hopefully, being able to push out the 'partially' extracted brass... All aluminium with a steel barrel insert-wouldnt be surprised if it has the same twist as your rifle or the insas!

Not much experience with revolvers but I recall that the cylinder of a Webley & Scott had turning problems using KF ammo of a certain vintage.

The owner of said W&S is a member here and he can elaborate on it if he sees this post and so wishes.

Have only one piece of advice regarding the IOF .22 revolver - keep well away!! It's a complete POS (piece of shit)...

I don't think this would be legal but apart from that you would courting injury or worse if you do not know what you are doing.

Regarding not dry firing .22 revolver, I saw the same warnings on Smith and Wesson revolver and Hammerli trailside pistol which also has a BOLD warning on it not to dry fire. It can damage the firing pins.
The SW revolver is also verly light and belongs to "Airlite" family.. Regarding IOF revolvers safe bet is stay away (based on Abhijeet feedback) and go for a .32 one and buy the .22 rifle..
