I wont compare them in the sense that one is better that the other. I have seen both of them and they are both great. Cheetah has a solid heavy feel and look to it. The grooving and curves along the slide give it a relevantly sleeker look as against a Walters more traditional look. Which one would I buy, Walter, reason I still feel it easier to dismantle and shoot and like all Walters is a natural extension of your arm.

While Beretta has discounted the cheetah series in North American they still sell in Europe http://www.beretta.com/en/serie-80/#Features

Farook,

Have you actually used any of these pistols and used and carried them long enough to opine that the Cheetah is sleeker than the Walther (its not Walter as far as I know) and the Walther is easier to dismantle and that "like all Walthers" is also a natural extension of your arm ?

All Walthers are natural extension of your arm !! Have you actually used as many Walthers to come to that conclusion or did you read it somewhere ?

Cheers

TC

Actually yes. As mentioned before one of the oldest arms dealers in Bangalore was my neighbor for 20 years, now moved out as rentals got high around the place. Walters, Berettas, hks, star, webleys and many more...I can never afford to buy any of them thought....

Unscrew the wooden grips, dismantle the gun fully and apply gun oil preferably ballistol and generously. The grips really need cleaning. If you find it difficult try a reliable gun smith. There are various textures to coat it with but difficult to get the right person to do it.
