I dont believe you can get a Beretta 81 in India, might be wrong. In terms of importing it... good luck. Become a renknowned shot and you 'might' succeed. If at all available in India, it would probably cost you a small flat in a decent location.

Don't think even renowned shots would be allowed to import a Beretta 81FS as the same is not being used in any competitions( if I'm not wrong).

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.

No harm done. :) If you have a license, buy an IOF product and practice till the time you are able to lay your hands on a better weapon. As MoA said, under the current circumstances in India, you will be shelling out anywhere in the range of 9-12 lacs for Beretta 81FS.

The IOF .32's are your best bet. They are the only weapons selling in India that have anything close to sane values.
It all depends on how deep your pockets are.

Look, you have to be practical when you're buying your weapon. Don't buy anything for their looks value or for their brand value, cause both are very very very costly in India. Look into your pockets first. If they're deep, then buy anything from the market. If not, settle down for an IOF product. Another important thing to look out for is ammo availability of the product.

I was just asking that coz when i saw it it was really a master piece of it's kind n that was the main reason for inquiring about it.

No, my guess it it's something brijendra said which has been deleted by the mods
