the cost primarily depends on your pistol .... this one cost us 31000 rupees the cost from pistol to pistol varies by 4- 5000 rupees

Visho, is this another one of Bobby's creations? Curious as a friend here has just ordered one from him...
Cheers!

dear Visho it seams that it is powder coated+wooden grips+a modification in magazine it does not feels like a job of 31000

hi abhijeet this is bobby sidhu's creation.
kanwar the cost is just of the mods.
mr khurmi it is not powder coated it is blued ...... that is just not all the mods....the entire pistol is reprofiled from the outside the slide is tuned to make it smoother ....alongwith some mods that i am not sure of.... regarding the price i think if you are getting quality work at par with international standards and making a swan out of an ugly duckling you have to pay the gunsmith his dues..... personally i dont think it is too much for the kind of work he has done....but then again to each his own.

Visho,
Thanks for sharing the pictures. What interests me here is the magazine extension. It seems like a plastic wedge screwed on to the base plate of the magazine. My friend last week bought a baby browning from your city and we were kinda working on a magazine extension for a better grip . Now I will tell him where to go .
best,
Rp.

Thanks Visho,
Looks nice, What do you think bluing will stay if someone going to carry it daily?

Unless I am mistaken, the fore and rear sights seem to be new custom made ones, ditto for the extractor... am I right?
Inder, if you are going to EDC (every day carry), I doubt any kind of bluing will survive completely intact... however careful you might be. While I do appreciate 'prettiness' in a gun, I always rate functional efficiency higher, they (guns) are after all tools and tools should first and foremost be utterly efficient at their intended role - no one could ever accuse any of the AKs of being beautiful, but they work and work well!
Would be very curious to know the complete list of functional/ reliability related mods that Bobby has done on this piece.... maybe someone could point him to this thread?
Cheers!
Abhijeet

Abhijeet,
I agree 100% with you on this. I will take a proper functioning ugly duckling any day than a non-reliable swan. I was just thinking aloud about factory finish being hardy than the blued one.

i personally feel that any finish taken proper care of will stay for as long as it naturally should .... have seen a couple of old pistols done by him and the finish seemed quite hardy.
