Which is your most favourite NPB hand gun
Imagine Government of India allowed you to import from anywhere in the world a NPB handgun of your choice with life time free supply of ammunition all paid for, which gun would you choose and why?

Desert Eagle . No questions .A pair , preferably with Ivory grips - not the cheap mother of pearl types .
If you want to shoot , shoot . Don't talk .....

Re: Which is your most favourite NPB hand gun
As far as Semi-automatics go, I love my SIG's. They are accurate, are extremely well built, have excellent fit and finish, feed any kind of ammo; they feel just right in my hand and they go bang every time I pull the trigger. What more could one want?
There are a lot of handguns that embody the above characteristics and I have tried a lot of them but for some reason, when I pick up a SIG, something about the ergonomics feels just right.
I guess I would choose a 9mm SIG because of the wide variety of loadings available in 9mm.

...ah! xl you see all he mentioned was the lifting of the import ban... you'll still go to jail for attempting to import or possessing a PB firearm ...

Probably a HK in 10mm. That is if i were in India, and was importing a handgun.
Actually I think I might as well get one as my next handgun.

Either a S&W Model 29 in .44 Mag or for sheer durability a Stainless Steel Ruger Redhawk in .44 Mag. with a 4.5 in. barrel adjustable sights and a selection of wood and rubber grips, a bunch of speed loaders and a few synthetic and leather holsters. And at least 5000 Rounds of ammo with reloading supplies.

My aplogies! I totally misread the the OP's post. I read it as any caliber. Can only blame myself and the late hour of the night.xl_target wrote:

I only paid attention to part of the first line (slapping head):

By the way pardner, you just never know, the Govt. may just be mulling over the same thing -A ONE TIME IMPORT FOR ALL LICENSED FIREARM HOLDERS. Keep your fingers crossed. If nothing comes off, no matter, we can continue with Surgeon's Barmicide's feast.

winnie_the_pooh ,
One acquaintance does have a Manurhin Revolver (Competition Grade)in cal.32 Long with 6" barrel, supposed to be a super accurate revolver if the shooter does his job. Hasn't been shot enough to create a drag mark on the cylinder yet. Seems no less then a Korth which I handled abroad once. This one could be up for sale now I think. Condition, NIB with literature and original cleaning kit etc.. Was a direct import. How much should one quote for it ???????
Marksman
ps:the owner is an ex competitive shooter and knows all that is to know about such guns and prices.
