Re: Shiny grips for .32 Revolver
They certainly are unique. Are they slippery or does the impression of the checkering provide some friction?

Hey just a lil diligent TLC and passion to do something like this. Shows if our iof 's do get a lil dedicated and strive for higher standards we could have real world class guns in india and hey who knows one day even export em.. Amen
I dont dial 911... I dial .357

Re: Shiny grips for .32 Revolver
captrakshitsharma, the gun IOF provided does seem wonderful in quality but comes with the grips of a cheap chinese toy gun.Even if the iof increases its cost to double, things wont change.
xl_target,the grip does not slip. Its of same dimension the iof provides.Tell u what,i learnt after firing 2 rounds that the recoil has decreased as the weight of grips around 200 gms eats the recoil to some extent and the gun has stopped falling forwards which happened due to heavy front and light rear.

Hi fellows,
Lionheartguru,if your question is about dimensions, quality etc then i can assure u these are of exactly same demensions as provided by FGK,regarding quality u can even hit a person attacking u with the metal grip delivering substantial injuries(just imagine what they show in films hitting out with a revolver in hand-is it possible with a plastic grip?)
Vipul singh,my revolver is a new piece.Purchased on 22nd sep 09 from FG Kanpur.Its a mark 3.Paid Rs82512/-.

Re: Shiny grips for .32 Revolver
out of interest, why did you choose brass, rather than wood or rubber
