I personally dont know of any such conversion kit especially for revolvers. Even if it was possible ( highly unlikely) also all such changes need to be performed by a competent gun smith and this is a legal requirement also. I would keep it as a .38 or purchase IOF .32 revolver.

Hi,
First you will need permission from the competant authority to allow such a conversion, second you will have to locate a gunsmith who can and will accomplish this. Technically its not so difficult, all you need is a different barrel and cylinder, as an assembley with its own extractor. You will probably have to import the stuff, which is another hassle altogether.

Thess will need to be fitted and possibly timed to the frame for positive alignment of the cylinder to the barrel and correct lock up for firing. The other more likely alternative is get a rifled barrel insert and sleeve the existing barrel, as for the cylinder you will need to sleeve the chambers too, but will still need a new extractor for the reduced diameter cartridges to extract.

Regards,
Anand

honey_grewal,

I am assuming that the chief driver to convert your Webley to an NPB calibre is due to the difficulty in transferring the firearm in the name of another family member (from the current license holder's name)? If so, then be advised that such a transfer within the family is not impossible, as "transfer of family heirloom" is one of the only two basis on which someone may apply for a PB license. It will be a longer and harder process than the usual NPB license application - but it is possible... I'd advise you to at least try out that avenue before thinking of butchering a lovely handgun.

Cheers!
