MoA: Not quite. A .45-70 revolver has application if you are into handgun hunting big and dangerous game, and can be handled. Without being overkill. But the .50 BMG in a pistol is several levels of magnitude beyond the .45-70, to the level of insanity. Without discernible purpose to either hunter or target shooter. That thing would have a muzzle blast like the back blast of a recoil-less rifle. Cheers.

Is that the .45-70? That is huge. The only (non-useful) application I see is a crocodile dundee style encounter "that's not a gun- this is a gun" heh :D . Would probably end up ripping the web of skin 'tween the thumb and forefinger if shot casually.
