Yeah, good old Smith & Wesson which is owned by a British company. Likewise Heckler & Koch which is owned by Royal Ordnance Factories. Most of Winchesters production ( until they recently ceased trading ) was owned by a Belgian company .... which in turn was French owned. Both Purdey and H&H are French owned. The list goes on and on.......

Grumpy,
Smith and Wesson were recently bought by their employees' union. They are now once again US owned and the new Chairman who seems to be doing a very good job, is a former breakfaast cereal marketer with Kraft Foods.

Snap, crackle and Bang ? Yup, you`re right Mehul, I`d forgotten about that.....I`m pretty sure that it was you that told me the last time the subject came up. My memory eh ? - That must have been all of.......2 weeks ( ? ) ago.
Good news anyway - just as Winchesters` increased production of American made guns is. Any Brits fancy buying Purdey or H&H ?
