Hey people,
I was being offered a Llama .380 pistol for 1.30 lakhs. With a condition that I will have to buy the same sellers underlever winchester .32/40...for another 20 thousand...So, 1.50 Lakhs for both the weapons. They belonged to the sellers grandfather and havent been used much since the oldie past away.
Is the deal worth it or not? The rifle is odd bore, dont think will get much ammo for it.
Regards,
R.Dhillon.

R-Dhillon,
You love for the underlever winchester is being proven again.. i think if they would have offered you only the rifle for 50K you would have bought it!!!!
however, is it a PB 0.380 or one of the NPB variants of the 9 mm??
best of luck and go ahead.. if you do buy the guns please post some good high quality photos of them .. so that we all can get a little jealous!!

The .380 aka 9mm short is a NPB calibre.

0.38 is PB but 0.380 is NPB.. i knew that 9mm short is NPB, but dint know that 0.380 is the 9 mm short...
so the 0.380 is a good value proposition compared to the 0.32 (except the ammo cost and availability)

Nope NOT all .38's are PB! ONLY the 9mm Luger/ Parabellum aka 9x19mm AND the .38/200 aka .38 S&W are classified as PB calibres. The rest are NPB
unless (as is in certain cases) the guns chambered for them can safely chamber & fire either of the above two calibres. Check out the KB article on PB & NPB calibres and the subsequent discussion thread for more... Lets not hijack this thread.
Cheers!
