I recently saw this logo on a 32 Webley & Scott Pistol.
Any idea what does it represent.

Not sure about this proof mark, but did some "googling" and someone seems to think that MP could stand for "Metropolitan Police".

If this info is correct then this would be an ex-London police pistol, probably sold as surplus at some point of time...
