I am a residence of Hyderabad and I own a Walther PPK and a .22 bore rifle. I wish to sell both of them, can anyone please guide me through the procedure. Also can you tell me what kind of price can i expect for each. The Walther PPK is hardly used(about 40 shots fired) and .22 bore rifle has been fired about 300 times. I wish to sell it as i don't feel the need of it anymore.

Depending on magazine capacity (high-capacity mags carry a premium) I have heard of PPK/S (stainless steel version) being quoted for as high as 7 to 8 lacs, the blued steel version will be a shade cheaper and if it is nickel plated it will be cheaper still... this is assuming factory fresh NIB (new in box) condition, every mark & ding will lower the price, any mechanical repairs will slash the price further.

Since there is no MRP for these things it's all based on demand & supply and more importantly which of the two parties (buyer/ seller) is keener to close the deal.

You did not mention the make/ model/ condition of the .22 rifle. The IOF made one sells for about 27,000/- brand new (10 shot magazine), Brno's will usually fetch over a lac of rupees, Kirco's will go for between 65-70,000/- etc. etc. As mentioned earlier all this depends on condition.

My information is based purely on what I have read in the various posts by members here. Others on this forum seem to be more clued into pricing than I am, maybe they would be able to guide you a bit better.

Cheers!

I know I'm going to get slammed for saying this. You should be getting a substantial amount for the PPK. One PPK with a Mumbai dealer went for 6.25 lacs less than a year ago. Some dealers here are quoting 7.50 and above for the PPK .32

No idea about the rifle though.

The rifle's make is j.g anschutz and the model number in 1450. regarding the walther ppk..i have 1+1 magazine and its a blued steel version with the orginal box. Both the Rifle and Gun haven't needed any repairing yet as it has hardly been used. So, what do think about it?

.22 anschutz is single shot with bull barrel or with a magazine???
I'd be interested if its a bull barrel single shot. i.e target model.

Anywhere between Rs.75,000 and twice that depending on the condition of the rifle (good to excellent) and the location of the buyer.

You will get substantially less if you sell the rifle to a dealer.

Hi,

Best way to get an idea about the price of your firearms would be to visit each dealer who dosent know you individually and inquire the price for the 22 rifle and the 32 PPK which you WISH TO BUY .

The price so quoted would give you a fair idea of the price .Reduce a sum of 15000 -20000 from that (this is the bargaining margin for your pistol) and you would come to know what is the maximum you can sell it at. Reduce about 50,000 from the fiqure and you would surely get an idea of the price of your firearm.

Hope this would help.
