Dear Mack The Knife,
One of my friends has a .32 revolver (Made in Spain) but there is no company name and its look like Ruby .32 revolver. He brought it in a packed condition of some one and he has entry on his license. I just want to know that is there any Place named Darra where all the duplicates are available of many big brands.
Second thing he is asking for this is 1.25 lacks is it right.
Please suggest.
Thanks

Tarun,
There is a place in Pakistan called Darra Adam Khel where guns are manufactured.
When you yourself aren't sure what the model is how can you expect me to tell you if the price is right or not?
My suggestion would be to post good quality pics of the revolver along with any other details you find stamped on it. This would help other far more experienced members to guide on the price front.

Mack The Knife,
I am not able to take the pics because revolver is not with me but i personally inspect the revolver there is no any information stamped. when I asked the owner regarding the revolver and he told me he brought it in 1990 from an army person and that army person brought it from an auction.

It would make a difference, if pics are posted, to help decision making.Buying 'sight unseen' is a extinct value in Indian Gun trade.Opining, even more so!

i was getting it in 50k, but i refused it and bought IOF revolver. It the revolver which opens from right, just opposite to smith & wesson. Dnt buy it at any cost. Its difficult and expensive to get it repaired and more difficult to sell it above or equal to your cost price.
Cheers

i personally agree with what mittu had said
from the de.scription you give, it looks your friend might have a cheap spanish copy with him. the industrious spainyards did a lot of those in the past
price wise, these sell for peanuts, at least in the western market (sort of <$100). and last heard were not popular in india as well (retail <50,000) . like all copies, the quality is substandard and they are a danger to the shooter and those around him when fired.
p.s. if you really want to spend more than a lakh for a good revolver, look at the arminius that danish is offering

Please don't sell your IOF revolver and buy this Spanish Crap. If the man brought it from a army officer and he brought it from an auction......chances are that he must have purchased the same from COD Jabalpur. Army guys don't buy from auctions they are alloted the firearms at a very reasonable prices more as a special privilege....and chances are it might be a Dara made one or some cheap confiscated firearm. Please forget replacing your IOF revolver with this piece of junk. Someone is getting ready to take you for a ride.

Suggest you what to do?????????????
Well find someone like yourself
and sell the revolver to him what other choice you have unless of course you can convince the seller to give your money back after deducting a percentage of money from the amount advanced.....
