Hi All,

I ve fired several shots from my .32 IOF revolver and i clean the barrel regularly with a nylon and brass brush which came with the revolver, but still i see some lead particles sticked inside the barrel. Is there any method through which i can remove all the lead sticked inside?

Wrap steel wool around a brass wire brush and scrub the bore with that.

Are you sure it is lead fouling and not copper?

Anyway, you get lead and copper solvents which work pretty well, I have one by Hoppe's; Nitro Powder Solvent, though I haven't tried it yet. My fouling is copper I think as I only fire FMJ bullets.

Try the BIRCHWOOD CASEY bore scrubber since it is one of the best I often use it to clean my DBBL Holland & Holland and the result is satisfactory the scrubber comes in a pack of 5 fl oz (150 ml) and it is 3 in one bore cleaner for copper, lead & Nitro fouling. it is Mfg by th Birchwood Labatories, inc. 7900 fuller road, eden prairie, MN 55344. check www.birchwoodcasey.com ( 800-328-6156)
