Vivek,
Where? There is a (partial) list of dealers in the yellow pages of this website, you can try contacting some of them. You should also look up your local yellow pages directory for additional names/ numbers (would be great if you could also add some of them in the relevant yellow pages section here as well).
Which one? As Badshah has rightly pointed out, it depends entirely on your budget...
I assume, that you have already gotten yourself a valid arms license for a handgun...
Cheers!

Forget imported and just get the IOFB Revolver or the Pistol. Both .32. Unless you wanna spend more money than it is worth.

Even those two are overpriced IMHO, but less so... I mean the cost of manufacture (even in a highly inefficient organisation like the IOFB) is less than INR 10,000/-... now just compare that with their factory price!

Do you think 75 odd thousand is expensive for a POS or 15 lacs is expensive for a Beretta
If someone quoted me 15 lacs for a handgun I would sock him in the teeth right there and then!

That's like asking, how hard do you want to be bug***ed? Half done, or would you like to have all the fun?!!
But yep - currently IOF made POS handguns are the only viable choice...

I think they call that "consumer activism"

I was quoted 10 lacs for a PPK recently; luckily for him it was over the phone; but I did feel like putting my hand through the receiver and pulling his guts out.
Seriously though CrystalROCKshop (what sort of a name is that?), if you are new to handguns/guns just get the .32 IOFB revolver. You may be able to find a used one too. If you insist on a pistol then get the .32 Ashani.

i admire the ppk but it is prohibited in canada
some members at my shooting club say that its only the james bond factor and ppk is not that good

Viv
with beaches, sun and the shacks do you really need a gun in Goa
In your budget you should be able to pick up a good piece, start calling all the dealers
nos listed in the directory.
You cant go worng with a Llama,Beretta,CZ for that matter any firang make, the nos of the limited editions is going down by the day
Good luck
Sanjay

15 Lakhs !! I thought 4 Laks was crazy..Save the monies fellas buy IOF instead (sic). Unless one is buying for investment purpose, Guns seem to be a better option than even Gold...

Up to 4 lacs you will get a decent pistol. But you will also get a beautiful S&W revolver for around that much.
Get a revolver dude.
