Vineet, I must reject the logic you have put forward. Let me enumerate the ways this is so:

There are very few guns lovers in India who maintain their weapons well.
This is not a statement of fact, but an impression. Even if we were to take a survey and collect the data showing this statement was true, it still does not change the fact that some weapons
ARE taken care of and
ARE in good shape. We know this because members occasionally post pictures of such guns, and assuming that the OP doesn't want to buy junk, this is what he is asking about.

For a 80-90 year old weapon to be in good condition it requires at least two weapon loving generations which is something not seen often here in India.
This is the second time you have posted these figures. I wonder what arithmetic you use to say that imported guns are 80-90 years old, when imports stopped in 1984, which is 41 years ago, or half the time you are portraying imported guns to be. Why do you feel the need to exaggerate?
As I have said, I have guns this old and older, and it may well be that some have been owned by more than "two loving generations," yet they are still in fine working order.
Again, whether this is seen often or not in India or anywhere else isn't the point: the OP is looking for a serviceable weapon, not a piece of junk.

This old pistol will require new set of springs, which are not available here
Why is this so, and what data do you have to support this? My used guns show no such replacement of springs. Besides, the old Colts have flat mainsprings, which you have advised members to seek, because they have a smoother feel (which I do agree with). What new guns have such flat mainsprings today? This is not to say that coil springs are unreliable, as the oldest gun I own,a Martini Henry from the 1880s, has a coil mainspring and is in fine working order.
In the 56 years I have personally owned guns, I have only had to replace two magazine springs on my CZ70, and no others.
I suggest that the OP should find a gun that doesn't habitually need new parts and new springs in the first place, and that would apply to any gun, whether new or old.

Ofcourse there are exceptions but overall I am saying that its better to go will Taurus, Msd then to go for 80-90 year old third hand weapon.
Well, it is just such exceptions the OP has asked about, not other options or suggestions.
Yes, I know that you are saying to buy a Taurus, but I disagree with you. I went over to the sporting goods store that I regularly shop at yesterday to asked the head salesman at the counter about these guns, which as I said before, are in his counter. I asked about reliability. He was reluctant to answer me directly, but he did offer two observations: First, he said that law enforcement and military police customers chose Sig, Glock, and Smith & Wesson firearms, and not Taurus firearms, and second, he would be OK personally for buying a Taurus for shooting at the range and plinking, but in a dark alley with his life on the line, he'd want something else. Everyone must make their own choice on these sorts of things.

The main point is this: The OP has made a choice, and he is asking about imported firearms availability at a certain price point. Not a single reply to his request has furnished him with any useful information regarding his question. It seems that some think that he is misguided and perhaps doesn't know what he wants. I assume that he does know what he wants, and I think there is good reason for him to want what he wants. I hope that some members will come along and furnish the information he requests, rather than try to talk him into something else.
Can't we just answer his question?
