Hi all, with new .30 Bore pistols having being launched by various Indian companies ( MSD, Garetta, Camstar, Nanda etc) was wondering if any knowledgeable member can advice which is the best among these.Or give a general ranking.
I am planning to purchase one for self defence but unsure of the quality etc. Have had a Webly& Scott .32 revolver for long now so looking to change it.Would appreciate your feed back.
Thanks.

MSD is good quality but the TT design can not be carried cocked and locked and it has thin grips for normal size hands and unegonormic grip angle. Nanda is copy of Sig Sauer 226, double stack 17 shot but priced above four lacs.

I would suggest you to select between for .45 Commander or Taurus .32

In .45, you get option to carry cocked and locked, .45 is excellent self defense round, fits better in hand and 45 dont over penetrate like 7.62x25.

If you are sensitive to recoil than go for Taurus .32, its an excellent pistol. Two 12 shot magazines, excellent sights, good trigger, double action, decocker, feels excellent in hands, perfect size, light weight, ambidextrous safety….

Sir, I have MSD Falcon .30, I took it in March 24, I fired it till 3 digits, I did not face any problem, I did not face any problem in safety, but Falcon is old design, today new design is available. Vineet sir, what he said is quite relevant.

Do not change if u want to go for 30 bore then do not sell transfer ur webley and scot in ur family member name .Because desi cos handguns will show its true colours after 2 years they r surviving because how many shots r fired by Indian gun owner for practice.Who will use 350 rupees one round for practice ? my kind advice is to be practical. If ur replacing with smith and wesson or taurus then no issue.

How about taking a look at the rules and not using "text talk" anymore, OK? Thank you -- the moderator
