How many of you knew that SMITH & WESSON is setting up a production facility in India? Commercial sale is expected to begin Mar'23 and pre-bookings will open by Nov'22. The majority of S&W line right now will be revolvers in .357 Magnum and 0.32 S&W long but their pistols will start shortly thereafter and the calibre most likely will be 30 Super Carry & 380 ACP.

Their present website is getting redesigned and we will be able to see all the product lines by October 2022, according to Mohit Sharma, Co-founder & Member of the Board, Werywin Defence Private Limited (India).

Werywin is commercial distributor of S& W India based in Aliganj Lucknow

It’ll be a tough pick between Glock or a S&W

Wow .This is great news. My only worry is that these guys don't keep us guessing like VINVELI AKA CZ India and Glock India. If they dont keep up their promised launches , they will definitely be cursed by the INDIAN SHOOTING FRATERNITY.

It's no fake news..it's right ..u can check Smith and Wesson website .. Werywin defence is mentioned there as there partner in india in Asia and it's also a warranty service provider in Asia region in india

Smith and Wesson website for international distribution says that not only will 'Werywin Defence' be their distributors in India, but they'll have Asia's second authorized warranty service station in India after Australia. I think that's a good news for all the Indian gun community

As per my recent interaction with company persons ..they have informed me that the above Smith and Wesson firearms will made in our government esteemed defence corridor project in aligarh in collaboration with Werywin defence company pvt limited,it's registered office is in Lucknow...soon we will get world class weapons backed by snw warranty station services in aligarh defence corridor

Because Glock failed to launch in India so cannot trust anyone now

Winnie to this just creaked me up.

Sent a mail to the company asking about the launch..they said that they will start taking booking around nov 2022 and should be able to start sales/delivery in the march 2023. Didnt tell anything about the price though.
