His price is Re 3.25 but he has stated that he will invoice for Rs 25,000 only or else 28% tax will apply.
Her Indian equivalent is being offered by another dealer for Re 2.9 lakhs.
Please help me make the right decision.

I am no expert on identifying firearms but i did fair share of research on w&s revolver before buying one. Both are imported versions, the price for locally manufactured ranges from 1.95 to 2.20 depending on from where you purchase.

The Revolver is in Fair condition.
It is a Mark IV,B Series.
Their is visible pitting on the Barrel (nothing alarming).
One of the screw seems to be slightly damaged,
Though not very clear in the photo,
Hence I may be wrong.
The imported Webley were very strongly built Revolvers.
Price is marginally on the higher side, below 3 Lakh would be a bargain.
The Indian made Webley is relatively new to the market,
It will be difficult to comment on its performance and durability.
After purchase, generally Firearms are very sparingly used.
This is in reference to our Indian scenario.
The imported Revolver will still re-sell at the purchase price,
But their will be deprecation on the Indian made.
The decision between an IOF and Indian Webley is simple.
However, various factors have to be take into account,
When choosing between an Indian and Imported Webley Revolver.
In my personal opinion go for which ever one, you like.
You will not regret either.
Let your heart decide.
Owing to several restrictions in India,
Owning a Firearm is more about passion than utility/use,
Between the 3” and 4” Barrel in the imported Webley Revolver,
I would take the 3”.

Jr.
