45 ACP pistols available in India

Hi, i am looking for a pistol chambered in 45 ACP, preferably foreign manufactured. What are the most commonly available 45 ACP pistols in India? I would also like to know the price ranges they are available in.

He is asking for information on available models and price ranges. He is not asking if anyone has one for sale here. There is a separate forum for trading on IFG which at least offers transparency to a transaction.

Colt, Ithaca and Remington are available in the market. Prices are around 11-12 lacs. Newer models like Sig fetch more.

Those prices are at least 10 to 15 times the price of 1911s in countries like the US! Our country really sucks for gun lovers.

Even in our neighboring countries like Pakistan, these handguns are available at around 1.5 to 3.0 Lakhs INR including glocks too

Heard of Ithaca Gun Company for the first time. Its models look old.
The 1911 and 1911A1 pistols were made by a number of companies up through WW 2. They are:
Colt
Springfield Armory
Remington-UMC (UMC stands for "Union Metallic Cartridge. This is the gun-making arm of the Remington Company)
North American Arms (These were very rare, perhaps less than 200 made)
Remington Rand (This is a subsidiary of Remington UMC that was set up to make typewriters)
Ithaca (Ithaca was a maker of good shotguns, both double barrel and the famous bottom-ejecting pump Model 37 designed by John M Browning)
Singer (The sewing machine company. There were only 500 Singer 1911s, so they are very rare)
Union Switch & Signal (this was a subsidiary of the part of Westinghouse that made brakes for railroad rolling stock)
Then, there are the modern versions made by many companies and those made under license by foreign manufacturers, such as the Argentine Ballester Molina

Latest Malhotrasons has .45 pistol that’s available to be purchased.

Received a reply from them as below
Revolvers will be available May 2020 onwards
Handguns will be available October 2020 onwards - .45 will be December 2020 onwards
Shotguns will be available January 2021 onwards
Airguns will be available January 2021 onwards
