Webley .32 & .45 ACP pistols to be launched soon

Just received info from a Webley Master dealer that Webley .32 & .45 ACP pistols are to be launched soon in India. According to the dealer prototypes of the pistols would be launched in April 2022.
Any members on this forum who own the Webley (C series) made in India revolver? Maybe they can throw some light on the performance of the made in India Webley revolver.

the Business Manager of Sial Manufacturers / Webley Scott India told me some 2 months back that .32 pistol is expected around Mid 2022 and .45 by 2022 end.

Just a conspiracy theory that I have… maybe Webley, Crossfire, Malhotra etc are all rushing to launch their pistols before Glock does knowing very well that they would not stand any competition against Glock.

could be but the way things are in our country, who knows what quality they will be offering, considering quality of raptor and crossfire. may be everyone is manufacturing their products in such a way that it is similar to indian weapons.
btw malhoatrasons told me some 2-3 months back that their first lot is expected in first quarter of 2022. glock / cmtpl has not responded to any queries sent to them.

webley guy's rough estimate was around 2lakhs for .32 and around 3lakhs for .45.

As EkManushya pointed out , they wish to keep it at par with OFB products just so as to avoid causing alarm or fear to anyone .
You can also note that mostly the handguns sold in our market are those which are otherwise called " mouse guns " . This too has an idea of respect towards the bodily constitution and mental strength of a potential target . So I guess .
I spoke to a master dealer of Webley in Kanpur . It was almost an year and half ago . He happens to be a partner in Webley manufacturing too . He said the " plastic .32 bore pistol " is going to cost around INR 2 lakhs " on road " . I could not decipher all the implications of his words .

and on road could mean inclusive of GST??!!

Brotha , Polymer frame is a certainiity . But availability and cost are the whms and fancy of anyone . It's a year and half when ge kinda hinted the price but nothing else has been heard of the pistol since then .

It is highly unlikely that we will see Webley .32 & .45 ACP pistols soon.
At the very best they may be launched by very end of 2022 or 2023

Yesterday have sent a whatsapp message to Mr. Ricky Sial to confirm the launch date of .45, but reply is still awaited.
