Very recently Premier Gun House Delhi imported some firearms Pistols, Revolvers, Gun & Rifles from Croatia Europe after obtaining a permission from DGFT LIC 0519240593 for 350 weapons {Three Hundred Fifty}. On home consumption.

As one consignment stuck in the custom and they are in Hon’ble High Court of Delhi a Writ petition civil No 3521/2021. Next date is 18 August 2022 though their import license is valid till 31-03-2022.

Now I am asking for the same permission from DGFT to import two weapons for myself will see what happens will update you all.

iirc, the consignment of 28 items that was stuck got released but they asked him to surrender the import license which the Hon'ble Court stayed in the next date. unfortunately now the next date is after a long time.

Wow !!! This will truly be a landmark move if successful. Can you please educate us the basis on which the gun house and now you have sought permission from DGFT to import weapons where there is a blanket ban? Have u done so under the renowned shooter category?

There are only two ways by which Premier gun house could get the import license i.e either he had very good approach like from Home Minister of India or he heavily bribed the DGFT people.

But somehow all the import papers of Premier Gun house got leaked and were all over in WhatsApp groups. As these papers got leaked, things became difficult for the gun shop owner.

Other people and gun owners may wish to ask for parity . Either DGFT has to give it or the Court . I think all should lie low untill they succeed in their import .

As the entire import exercise was on the bogus interpretation and the officer who have given permission to Premier Gun House Delhi was removed and moreover the actual approval file will be soon available to me so i will share that with all of you.
As they have asked for Actual Use / Home Consumption but the earlier three consignment of 15 Weapons, 35 Weapons & 28 Weapons were released by customs on the letter of 26-06-2021 issued by the DGFT to Customs IGI Airport Delhi. How they paly the actual game see the below details....
As per Arms Rule 2016, I would like to import the following items:-
1. GUN 100 Pcs. 2. NPB Revolver 90 Pcs out of that .32 Bore 70 Pcs & .357 20 Pcs. 3. NPB Pistol .32 Bore 30 Pcs, .380 Bore 20 Pcs, .45 Bore 20 Pcs, & .7.62 Bore 20 Pcs. 4 NPB Rifles 90 .30.06 40 Pcs & .22 Bore 30 Pcs still they unable to make 20 Rifle of ???? but the DGFT accommodated them and issued license for 350.
As the total import was taken only 15+35+28=78 Weapons already imported out of 350 Weapons for whom the Import License was issued on 25-9-2020 but still 272 Weapons left to import if they failed to Import these leftout 272 the entire scam will be exposed in due course. I will appreciate please wait till a PIL which we are going to file in the Hon'ble Apex Court very soon. As i am in the middle of a details through RTI from DGFT than the main conspirator in the DGFT who is the mastermind in this scam will be exposed.

I have copy of his import license, airline transport documents and other papers.

Ban on import of weapons was placed simply by putting firearms in the ‘restricted items’ that can be imported.

This import license issued to Premier Gun House read ‘License for restricted list of import items’.

There are two more shipments of balance articles which were arrived on Dt.6-1-2022 & 18-1-2022 in Delhi Airport and these two consignment will now not going to be released as Customs & other agencies are now looking for this kind of import of Restricted Items (Arms) in India.
Though they have paid the customs duties on these two consignments on 21-1-2022 but it not yet released and it will not released any more now.

Yes, of what I heard they sold the first batch.
