Hello Guys,

I am from Assam and have recently got my license for .32.

I have zeroed in on RFI MK2 and enquired in a couple of places.

What is the price in at factory before taxes and after. Also, what would be the reasonable price for the same in a Gun Shop?

Also, what options of .32 ACPs I have and what is the price.

Thanks,

M

Buy from the factory itself or any Arms dealer at Calcutta , I presuppose you live not too far from that city • Many of the dealers are located on JLNehru road , near Howrah junction. I bought my pistol in year 2013 @87000 . Gun dealers at Bhopal and Indore charge about 125000 Inrs for the same . Last year a friend of mine bought around the same rates. Dealers from any city out of west bengal pay around 18% gst on top of the factory rates so that's the money you pay extra .

Thank you for your input.

I am from Guwahati and Kolkata is 24 hours by road. In that scenario do you have any idea if I am allowed to bring back gun through airlines ?

Please clarify: By far the information I have the GST is 28%. And are you saying that if I purchase the gun in West Bengal the GST is not applicable?

What about the 2021 RFI MK2 factory price ?

Thnaks,

If I were you , I would go by my car or bike ( such z beautiful place uou live at ) . Taking your arms on a flight is another headache . They pack it separately , you will not be keeping it as cabin luggage and they charge around inr 5000 for it ( different airline differentcharges ) . Not to mention the check-in hassles .

If you buy in WB , you pay the price plus gst that comes around 90k in any case but you have to pay another state gst over this price outside WB so the price goes up significantly.

I guess I should drive down to WB and pick up from there....comes way cheaper plus the fun of driving :P

Funny it may sound, shops in Assam are asking for 140K for the same RFI MK2 2021 without any mods. You must be laughing your ass off :P

GST (tax) on handguns is 28%. It is same all over India.

Vineet ji , Arms dealers at Kanpur and Lucknow sell the pistol at 110k to 125k as they please . In MP they are charging 125k no less . At Calcutta, the pistol always comes below 90k so it would be best to enjoy the scenic ride all the way to Calcutta.

Also , he should not forget to buy as many cartridges as possible at Calcutta itself because it's gonna be the next predicament he would be facing, I guess. 🙏

90k retail price is old price. IOF increased prices of all products around a month back.

Now you won’t get rfi mk 2 for 90k. Recheck latest prices…….

Spoke to RFI and here is the detail.

RFI modified is 77,000 + 28% GST. Might take minimum 7-8 months for delivery.

Cons: can't sell the weapon for the next 5 years.

Spoke to a couple of Kolkata shops and the price is 120,000.

Is it the same for any weapon? I mean if you buy something, you can't upgrade or buy a different weapon let's say 6 months later?
