There is a Ruby pistol. I am unaware of a revolver. I have never seen one in person.
Personally at that budget I would go for the IOF pistol and save some money too.

Ruby is Smith & Wesson crude copy made in Spain . You need to do necessary check like timing , barrel cylinder gap etc. If you find non tampered original piece which is rare in India. It’s a all steel better than Iof Revolver.
In nutshell all about condition of Revolver and capability to identity the condition by checking everything.
James.

Ruby is a good Revolver, far better from IOF,
1 lac is the correct price for that.

Hi anoop7380,
I owned one Ruby Extra revolver in .32 S&W Long caliber from 1996 to 2004. It is basically a copy of the old S&W I Frame revolver but of poorer quality. Unfortunately it was plagued with numerous misfires, very likely because of incorrect head spacing and also a very light hammer. I changed the main hammer spring, and put cylinder shims to correct the head spacing as best as possible but the misfires continued. KF and imported ammo both had misfires, sometimes they would go off on the second or third hit.
In a cylinder of six it was uncommon to have all rounds fire, so 1 or 2 misfires were the norm. I dont know if mine was the only one with this issue.
I got rid of it and replaced it with a W&S Mk IV A Series and never had the same problem.
Regards,
Anand

None of iof revolver is good for safety purpose.
You can find a perfect Webley & Scott revolver within a range of 2 to 2.5 L.
Personally I don't like iof products except 30.06 rifle.
