This is nice. But I am confused between.357 & .40. Can anybody help me to choose? I want to know about expected price of these pistols and their ammo, also availability of ammo. I am not a casual user. Just want to use once in a while.

Since there is choice for only one weapon I put down G42 .380 auto as it is good for concealed carry. But I may change it in favour of G44 .22lr later if they don't make .380 auto ammo available, as they are prohibitively expensive as of now

Yes, The availability and price of the ammo will be a deciding factor for most of the people, regarding their choice.

If the ammunition cost is deciding factor then Glock 44, 21, 30 and 36 are the most favorable models.

Since we are only allowed one weapon, before we get a glock, the existing weapon will either have to be sold to a dealer/another license holder or deposited in some govt armory.

This will be a lengthy process, and another round of visits to DM office/ police station, etc.

Most of the weapons are vintage or ww2 era, but could still be a collectors item somewhere.

Hopefully the company will simplify the process, and / or have some excahnge / buy back policy for existing pistols / revolvers.

Glock Accesories should also be available.

CMT-JTF is doing business of manufacturing and selling weapons, what they will do of our mostly crap old or iof weapons?
Discard old weapon as defective and get a Purchase period on license, so that Glock can be purchased immediately post launch.

it seems like 45ACP will be the next .32 caliber in India
