Antique pistol named Rajshree Prartapa Meghzi

I have a nice c1840 percussion belt pistol by T Mortimer of London. On the top flat of the barrel is engraved or stamped, in Sanskrit, the name Rajshree Prartapa Meghzi. Was that anyone famous? Probably not, but seems unusual to have his name put on it. Any suggestions? It is not a military pistol but could have been a battle trophy?
Sorry but I don't understand how to attach photos.

I think the name may be
Rajshree Pratap Meghji , I'm guessing by the name, that the owner would have been from Gujarat state (at the time it would have been Bombay Presidency).
If you are unable to figure out how to post photos, send me a mail at abhijeet [at] abhijeetsingh [dot] com and I'll upload them here for you.

If you look closely it says महाराज श्री प्रताप सिंघ जी (Maharaj Shri Pratap Singh ji ) not Rajshri Pratap Megh ji . I think it belongs to Maharaja Pratap Singh ji of Idar .
