COLT 1903 PISTOL
Posted: Mon Aug 05, 2019 5:27 pm
The Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless.
Production/Manufacture of this model started in 1903.
This is chambered in a .32 ACP Caliber and designed by John Browning.
The Pistol is Single-Action Blowback design.
Though it is called Hammerless, this Pistol has a Hammer, Which is concealed under the Slide.
This allows the Pistol to be carried and easily drawn from the pocket/holster.
It has an Eight Round Detachable Box Magazine.
I also have a spare Magazine with the Pistol.
The Pistol is very accurate and has minimal recoil.
It can easily be handled and fired using one hand only.
The Pistol came in Walnut Checkered Grips with Colt Silver Medallion.
I have spare (brand new) Mother of Pearl Grips with Colt Gold Medallion.
I also have a ‘Safariland Model 1090 Gun-Quick’ Shoulder Holster for it.
This product was designed and patented by John Bianchi.
I have complete accessories and Pocket Guide for the Holster.
The Holster is ambidextrous (I am a Lefty) and very suitable for a quick/fast draw.
It is very light and has an extra Magazine Pouch.
The Holster can be adjusted to hold just about any Pistol and is not made for Revolver's.
With a little practise it is very simple and effective to use.
The following Catridges are displayed in the photo.
1. Magtech – JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point) in 65 Grains.
2. Sellier & Bellot – FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) in 73 Grains.
3. Indian Ordinance Factory – FMJ (I am not sure on the Grains).
I also have a custom made Cartridge Belt in Distressed Leather for .32 ACP Cartridges.
The Belt holds 12 Cartridges on either side (total 24) and also has a Magazine Pouch.
Regards,
Jr.
